The unique automated storage tracking within the system dynamically optimizes all inventory locations and thus eliminates any storage errors. All data is backed-up on a regular basis to ensure data security and recovery.

Progenics’ database is easily accessible by a touch screen during cord blood processing. To virtually eliminate the possibility of errors, each cord blood sample’s bar code is scanned at critical steps throughout the processing procedure. Technologists are alerted by the database’s audible voice system if the incorrect bar-code is scanned.  This system is unique to Progenics.  The only one of its kind in Canada, the system gives parents confidence in Progenics’ cord blood banking service.
