Progenics has a Directed Donation Program for families who wish to donate their baby’s umbilical cord blood stem cells directly to a family member who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease that can be treated with stem cells.
The service is free of charge if the family member meets the following criteria:

1. He/she is a sibling or parent of the baby.
2. His/her attending physician agrees that stem cells can be used for their treatment.

The service and storage remain free as long as the family member is in need.
